Leartis ‘Tres” Davis is a filmmaker from Dothan, Alabama. He attended Full Sail located in Orlando, FL where he earned his BA in Recording Arts and his Master of Fine Arts in Film Production. “Entertainment is everything, and the quality of how it’s presented is what drives me to continue to make watching worthwhile,” said Tres. Whenever he is not working on films, he enjoys recording and producing music and spending time with friends and family.

 

Recently, Leartis has learned the industry standard software and equipment in order to further assist any team he is placed on. Over the last few months, he has been practicing production sound diligently. He has become a reliable sound mixer as he dedicates more time to learning and perfecting his craft. In his studies, he has grown confident operating programs such as Avid’s Protools, Sibelius, and Media Composer. He also enjoys using Apple’s Logic X. 

 

Tres has extended his musical production techniques to develop scores for film in post production along with designing sound to produce the proper sonic tone to match the aesthetic of the respective film. His latest composition is entitled “Night Noise” after the horror-comedy screenplay written and directed by Stormy Hupp.
